Homewood, AL (March 20, 2014) – The Shelby County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 41, endorses Rep. Paul DeMarco for U.S. Congress. The unanimous decision is the latest endorsement by individuals and organizations who call Alabama’s Sixth Congressional District home.
The FOP resolution states “Rep. DeMarco has demonstrated unwavering leadership and loyalty to not only the men and women of law enforcement through his position within the Alabama House of Representatives, as well as his professional and civic commitments, but also to the residents of Shelby County.”
Rep. DeMarco thanks the Shelby County law enforcement community for this vote of support.
“Honored. That’s the one word which describes the endorsement this campaign has received from the Shelby County Fraternal Order of Police,” DeMarco says. “These are the men and women who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. I will always work to support our law enforcement.”
“This campaign is about representing the people of the Sixth District with conservative common sense and results. I will work tirelessly to protect the rights and values of the people of Shelby County.”
