Over at Al.com, Madison Underwood went to the trouble of providing easy to follow graphs depicting the important summaries for each of the candidate’s campaign contributions. “Paul DeMarco is the fundraising leader for the pack, raising $851,000 so far in the race, with $484,000 of that raised in the last quarter (Jan. 1-March 31, 2014),” wrote Mr. Underwood in the accompanying article.

Highlighting another important aspect of our donor base, Mr. Underwood noted that “98 percent of DeMarco’s itemized individual contributions came from donors within the state.”

It’s worth mentioning that we did have one low number: the average individual donation amount. We’re quite proud of this result, as our online and grassroots teams have been working quite hard to reach out to the everyday people and families who live throughout the district. During a recent Facebook fundraising drive, the online team observed campaign manager Rick Journey being quite noticeably excited about the $5 and $25 donations rolling in.

Mr. Underwood also notes that our campaign has the most cash on hand. Not only do we have the most money left in the bank, we plan to use it very effectively, too.
